As a college student, I saw a disconnect between students looking for experience and businesses struggling to find fresh talent.

I started using LinkedIn, but it felt more like a professional Facebook—just a list of achievements, not proof of skills. The idea hit me when I was reading restaurant reviews—what if students could showcase their work the same way, with real reviews and proof of expertise?

When I needed a freelancer, I turned to Fiverr, but experienced professionals dominated the platform, making it hard for new talent to break in. At the same time, I saw students at my university with amazing skills in coding, design, and marketing—but they were overshadowed by professionals with years of credibility.

I also looked into job boards like Indeed—where businesses post jobs but struggle to fill them because they require years of experience. Meanwhile, students need jobs but can’t get hired without that experience. It’s a cycle that doesn’t make sense.
